When nerds get too nerdy (Random Ramble #3)

I haven't posted on here for a while, but I think that's mainly because I haven't really had much to say up until now.

So this entry may be very one sided with a butt load of swearing, so be warned. This is also more of a venting type entry as well.

I have started to realize some common trends among nerdy-type people, mainly their extreme bias toward a video game, or a movie, or a certain gaming console or a certain kind of computer. And I'm going to say this right now, it's just a fucking form of entertainment! Who gives a shit if they have a Mac computer, or if they prefer console gaming over PC gaming. It's all their preference! I don't understand how fucking close minded some people can be about these kinds of things. For instance, I own a Macbook Pro, I like it because it runs well, runs the programs I need it to, and I don't need to worry about viruses a whole lot. If I were to tell that to someone who is very close minded about the whole Microsoft vs. Apple thing, then they would get all, "Why do have a Mac, they suck!" And at that point I would like to drop kick them in the throat. It's just a fucking computer! It's not affecting them in any way! It's not like it's going to stalk their family and murder them. Or rob them in a dark ally. It's just a computer! Also, I own an Xbox, saying two things (so I have came to figure out), I like console gaming, and I own an Xbox over a PS3. Again, it's just a fucking Xbox! Who cares if I own these pieces of technology, I bought them with my own money, I enjoy their functionality and usefulness. This close minded-ness could also be said about a number of different things, but that's not for this entry. In short, I fucking hate close minded people who rant about stupid shit.
Open your mind, broaden your horizons, listen to some jazz even! I know a few fantastic artists.

And I may be tooting my own horn a bit, but I (almost) never bash someone for liking a certain kind of entertainment, it's their preference, it's not affecting me at all. It may make me question their taste, but it's their taste, not mine.

And that's all I have to say for now about this, there have been a few times were I wanted to shout, "NERD," at someone and give them a wedgie and maybe a good swirly. At any rate, that's all for now.

Why I think I am friends with too many nerds which turns into why I think I'm usually pretty quite.. (Random Ramble #2)

Don't get me wrong, I too, am a bit of a nerd, But I am more into music and the like a heck of a lot more. So when a friend asks, "Hey! Have you checked out the new (insert superhero name here) movie?!" or, "Have you checked out that new Blockbuster smash hit videogame??!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?111" My most common answer is simply, "No."
I guess I just don't have as big of an interest as most of my friends do in that kind of stuff. And when it comes to music, I usually keep my mouth shut because most people I know will not know what or who I am talking about. I do, however, have some friends who are into a lot of the same kind of music I am, but I rarely get to see them, so I don't get to talk about the stuff I like with my friends because I just don't have the same interests as they do. And it gets difficult to have conversations sometimes. Apart from the fact that I have a bit of a stuttering problem and I can't find words properly, but that's besides the point. >.<
I do still play videogames here and there, but not as much as I used to, and maybe that's a good thing, although that could change once I start University >.> But that's down the line a bit. I guess my interests have shifted the past year. I'm not as much of a nerd as I used to be. But oh well, people change

PS: I'm starting to realize this blog may not only be about random thoughts, but maybe a bit of a way to vent as well. We will see if this keeps up at all...

First Random Rambling (intro)

So I thought to myself, "I need to start a blog, mainly for rambling about stuff" So I created one. Take what you will of it, I just wanted something so people can see my thoughts, whether that may be a good thing or bad thing >.<
